Night 6 – Nosferatu. As scary movies go, it’s hard to get much more old school than this. The original 1922 silent film based on Bram Stoker depicts Dracula as a grotesque monster instead of an old guy. I saw two different versions of the film with very different translations and soundtracks, one with modern classical music and one with Gothic industrial. Based on that, the film was either an unsettling vampire story or a satirical romp about an ugly aristocrat.
I’m going to try this later by watching Saw, muted, with a constant loop of Yakety Sax playing and see if the principal holds up.
